Wideband HP Active Monitoring Antenna
OMNI-A0268 is a wideband, active omni-directional antenna designed to receive horizontally polarised signals in the 500 to 3000 MHz frequency band. It is suitable for both mobile and fixed-site applications Mounting is provided via standard NATO and US 6/3/4 holes mounting flange, making it compatible with numerous existing systems. The antenna RF output is provided through an N-type connector which exits the antenna under the mounting flange for watertight and convenient vehicular installation. In active mode, the OMNI-A0268 is equipped with highly linear and low noise amplifier, which provides excellent sensitivity and low interference. The DC power is supplied to the antenna through the RF connector using products such as the MISCA0022. The OMNI-A0268 is extremely robust in design with printed circuit board radiating elements housed in a fibreglass radome fitted in to aluminium mounting tube. When the antenna is used together with OMNIA0098-01 or OMNI-A0190, both horizontally and vertically signal can be received.
